OnePlus China president has confirmed that the OnePlus 13 will run on Android 15.
China’s OnePlus reportedly announced that it is launching the much-anticipated flagship OnePlus 13 later this month in its home market with Qualcomm’s newest flagship processor. According to Android Authority, OnePlus China CEO Li Jie Louis, in a post on Chinese social media platform Weibo, said the OnePlus 13 would run on the “latest Snapdragon flagship chip,” which has to be Snapdragon 8 Generation 4.
Apart from this, the president of OnePlus had recently confirmed that the flagship phone would run on the Android 15 operating system with the ColorOS 15 user interface. This is something similar that OnePlus has done in the previous handsets. In China, the company provided Oppo’s ColorOS UI and its own OxygenOS UI in other markets. Moreover, the OnePlus 13 will be the first smartphone ever to run ColorOS 15 for boosting speed and scheduling, enhancing system-wide animations.
