Boruto TBV Chapter 12: Boruto’s Ultimate Battle Begins

Boruto TBV Chapter 12: The chapter starts with Boruto arriving in the nick of time to save Sarada Uchiha and several other Konoha shinobi from the thing that is an apparition in the form of Hidari, who we already know to be a Claw Grime that Sasuke Uchiha had introduced earlier.

But first Boruto leaves his unconscious sister, Himawari, with Konohamaru and faces Hidari, who uses Claw Marks to escape quickly or attack from behind.

In the background chaos, Boruto provides backstory on Hidari, connecting him to the mysterious figure of Shinju, or God Tree, who Boruto posits must be defeated if he wishes to save Sasuke. As the God Tree summons numerous Claw Grimes, the battlefield starts to get really dangerous!

Boruto TBV Chapter 12: Boruto & Sarada Teams UP!

Boruto teams up with Sarada in an alliance. Thanks to Sarada’s quick reflexes and her ability to use Chidori Nagashi to dodge Hidari — she helps Boruto by finally using the lightning technique to counter Hidari’s many attacks, giving Boruto the much-needed time needed to charge Uzuhiko Rasengan. Through their combined efforts, they deliver a final blow to Hidari. Kawaki cuts in, landing a final strike that utterly decimates Hidari and what’s left of the God Tree.

After the battle, Boruto learns that Hidari has turned into a mysterious orb-like entity that he believes is the key to saving Sasuke. But, their triumph is soon met with the intervention of the second opponent Jura, who ambushes them all and knocks Boruto out cold, stealing the Thorn Soul Bulb in the process. Jura’s announcement to dispose of Boruto, because he saw him as a possible threat to the upcoming Otsutsuki revival, has the audience clamoring for the next chapter.
